Luisa Ribeiro Lopes holds a Law degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, an Executive Management certification from the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, and is currently a PhD candidate in Gender Studies at the University of Lisbon and NOVA University Lisbon. She has a professional career spanning over 25 years, most of which have been dedicated to the Information Society and the development of digital projects in both the private and public sectors. She is currently the President of the Board of Directors of the DNS.PT Association. She is also a member of the National Board of DECO and a Board Member of CENTR – the European Association of ccTLDs.
She is actively involved in several national and international digital initiatives. She previously served as General Coordinator of the National Initiative for Digital Skills e.2030 (INCoDe.2030) and was one of the key figures behind the Azores: Digital Region project. She is a founding member of APDSI, a member of the Strategic Council of ACEPI, and a member of the Executive Committee of MUDA – the Movement for Active Digital Use. Additionally, she is part of the National Council of the Aga Khan Foundation.
Luisa is deeply engaged in various initiatives promoting Digital Inclusion, particularly for women, and strongly believes that Digital Inclusion is Social Inclusion.
