Daniel Roe leads the Nuxt core team and is part of the team at Vercel, where he works full-time on open source. His work spans the Vue.js and broader JavaScript ecosystems, including Nitro, magic-regexp, fontaine, and npmx.dev. From his degree in law, he made the leap to tech as CTO of a SaaS startup and founder of a creative agency. He's a keynote speaker at conferences around the world, a Microsoft MVP, Google GDE, and GitHub Star, and was named in the 2025 OpenUK New Year Honours List. He lives in Scotland with his family and a very affectionate ragdoll cat named Barley.
