Isabel Praça, PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering, is a Coordinating Professor at the Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto (ISEP), where she also serves as Advisor to the Presidency for Research and Development. She is a senior researcher at the Research Group on Intelligent Engineering and Computing for Innovation and Development (GECAD), where she leads the cybersecurity research line, focusing on the application of AI techniques for improved cyber solutions, as well as the security of AI techniques. She is a member of the Advisory Group of the European Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA), a NATO expert, and a member of the CERIS group – Community for European Research and Innovation for Security of the European Commission.
