Alessandro Gianola is an Assistant Professor at Instituto Superior Técnico, Universidade de Lisboa, and an Integrated Researcher at INESC-ID, working on Business Process Management, AI and formal methods. Principal Investigator of two scientific projects, he has authored more than 55 peer-reviewed publications, including papers in several leading journals and top-tier AI and BPM conferences; he has served as Workshops Co-Chair of FLoC 2026 and PC Chair of EDOC 2025, and has received several international awards for his PhD dissertation and research activity.'
